Women Workers Human Rights Training Program
The Women Workers Human Rights Training Program was organized in collaboration with the Gender Equality Office and the Faculty of Law at Özyeğin University. The program offered 12 hours of training and workshops over three weeks, designed for the university’s women employees. The sessions focused on gender equality, labor rights, care work, labor law, and related employee benefits, providing participants with both theoretical and practical insights. Throughout the training, participants engaged in interactive discussions and activities aimed at enhancing awareness of women’s rights in the workplace, promoting equality-based approaches, and making care work more visible within professional and social contexts. The program was successfully completed with the participation of 21 women employees and the valuable contributions of our instructors: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Baskan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özge Yücel Dericiler, Dr. Alev Özeroğlu, Dr. Ayşe Ece Acar, Gurbet Kabadayı, Arca Begüm Bayır, and Cansu Kutlualp.
