Özyeğin University Gender Equality Office (ÖzU Gender Office) was established in 2021 to realize our university’s gender equality goals based on the United Nations’ 5th Sustainable Development Goal of Gender Equality. ÖzU Gender Office works to create a safe, equal, and inclusive campus environment by developing various collaborations with academic and administrative units and external stakeholders to promote gender equality awareness as a culture. In this context, we aim to increase social impact in all processes by preparing our university’s individuals for an equal future through training, projects, and activities.
In this regard, Özyeğin University provides consulting and guidance services to ensure that all projects, research activities, courses, programs, and academic studies at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels, as well as all other institutional processes, are planned and implemented with gender sensitivity. These efforts aim to contribute to the development of an inclusive, equitable, and gender-responsive university culture that strengthens gender equality
