As part of the “Raise Your Voice for Equality!” project organized by the Women’s Self-Defense Academy, the Digital Forum Webinar Series continued with a session titled “Law in the Focus of Gender Equality.” Gender Equality Expert Arca Begüm Bayır joined the webinar as an invited speaker, and the event was held online with the participation of 85 attendees. During the session, participants explored the intersection of gender equality and law, discussing legal frameworks, societal dynamics, and the challenges faced by women and marginalized groups in accessing justice. In her presentation, Bayır highlighted the reflections of gender inequality within the legal field and shared insights on combating discrimination, ensuring equal representation, and strengthening access to rights.The interactive format allowed participants to raise questions and engage in discussions about the visibility of gender-based inequalities within the justice system, promoting solution-oriented dialogue.The webinar provided a meaningful platform to enhance awareness of gender equality in the legal context and to foster collaboration toward more inclusive legal practices.
