Gender Equality Reports (GER)

Özyeğin University has developed the ÖzU Gender Equality Reports (ÖzU GER) to track and enhance its progress in gender equality systematically and sustainably. These reports are based on the core data from the ÖzU Gender Equality Plan v2 (ÖzU GEP v2), published in 2024, and serve as a key tool for evaluating the university’s performance in gender equality.

ÖzU GER is the outcome of a comprehensive assessment process that includes both quantitative and qualitative data related to gender equality at the university. These reports aim to:

  • Identify strengths and areas for improvement in gender equality policies.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of gender equality initiatives.
  • Support data-driven decision-making for future strategic actions.

As part of ÖzU GER, self-assessments, analyses, and status evaluations related to gender equality at the university are shared. Additionally, the reports incorporate data collection efforts conducted in collaboration with the ÖzU Gender Office and the Planning and Analysis Office to ensure a thorough and evidence-based approach.

These reports are a crucial tool for the university to track annual progress in gender equality and to create an inclusive and equitable environment for students, academic and administrative staff, and leadership. Moreover, ÖzU GER serves as a valuable resource in the academic field, contributing to broader gender equality research and initiatives.

With ÖzU GER, Özyeğin University reinforces its commitment to monitoring, evaluating, and advancing gender equality across all institutional levels.
