The Gender Ideathon, organized annually by Özyeğin University’s Gender Office, was held this year in collaboration with Fiba Group. A total of nine teams, consisting of 36 participants from Fiba Group employees and Özyeğin University students, developed innovative projects aimed at increasing the visibility of care work and mental load. Gender Equality Expert Oğuz Can Ok, who led the organization of the event, delivered a presentation on care work and mental load to students and participants. Following the formation of the teams, Gender Office Expert Arca Begüm Bayır provided mentorship and direct support to the groups, contributing to the integration of an equality-based perspective throughout the idea development and evaluation process. At the end of the day, all project ideas were evaluated, and the top three projects were awarded for their creativity and impact.
